QUOTES FROM THIS EPISODE

16:49 ~ “I have a strong enough ego to believe that I'm good at what I do, but also that other people can help me make it better.”

25:33 ~ "If you can be honest with yourself that you're scared of the realities of your relationship, that you're not going to memorize your lines, [or] that you're going to fuck up a presentation, then... [the fear] just becomes energy."

28:04 ~ "I don't think much about the future or the past... I don't worry too much. I try not to fill myself with too much anxiety about what's coming, because I can't really control it. And I don't spend a ton of time looking back on the past with either regret or nostalgia."

37:46 ~ "I think we can hold incredible levels of confidence and incredible levels of insecurity."

47:19 ~ "I've always felt more in control when I am creating and staying busy and also trying to set things in motion that I know aren't going to be at the forefront of my focus for like three years... and [work] becomes cyclical."

51:20 ~ "If I am wherever I am, when I'm there, then it will be a productive and useful and interesting experience."

1:07:39 ~ "I'm a big believer in... Empirical evidence, like when people are like spinning out... Look back at the evidence that points to you always doing well and live inside of that."

1:11:32 ~ "Diligence is. Key to living and examined life, you cannot have a life of self reflection, self discovery without some level of intentionality and discipline. You can't do it.” - KF
